Do you take table bookings?

Due to the communal style of our seating we’re not able to book tables or seats. You can book an oven slot. We don’t overbook our slots so seating isn’t normally an issue but we can get busy. 


What does it mean to book an oven slot?

This means we’ll reserve dough and a dedicated time to cook your pizzas. For up to 4 pizzas we recommend you arrive about 20 minutes early to place your order, get drinks and get settled. 


If you have a larger order we will ask you to preorder by 5 pm on the day of your booking so that we can have your pizzas ready for you. We still recommend you arrive about 20 minutes early to get drinks and get settled before your pizzas arrive. 


Can I walk in and order pizza?

Yes, we will always do our best to accommodate any walk ins. But our pre-booked orders will be completed first.


We can normally fit in 2 pizzas quite easily. If you are after more than 2, and we have a lot of bookings, you may need to wait for the next available slot. We will always be upfront about when this is. If you’re really wanting pizza we can always recommend booking a slot to avoid ‘sad no pizza face’. We don’t like it either!

Do you sell gluten-free pizzas?

We can make low-gluten option. However, due to the occupational hazard of flour in pizza making, we can never guarantee there will be no cross-contamination. If you have an allergy or intolerance, please speak with our team. We'll be happy to provide more information. 

Do you offer take away?

Yes, absolutely. Email or phone us to place your order and book your time slot. 


Do you do delivery? 

At the moment, we don't have the staffing to offer delivery but we hope to in the near future.


Do you have heating?

No, as we are in an industrial building without any insulation we are not able to heat the building (blame building regs). If it’s cool outside it’ll be the same inside. We do have blankets but please come dressed for the weather.


We can’t wait for spring and summer to have those gorgeous doors will be wide open.  


Why does the door have to be open?

As we have a wood-fired oven, we must have a source of fresh air coming into the building. Otherwise, we’d burn all the oxygen, and we’d die of CO2 poisoning. Okay, it's dramatic, but you get the gist. Plus, we also need to have two fire exits to keep you safe. 


Do you do private hire?

We do offer private hire but so that we don't disappoint our regulars we offer this outside of our regular pizza service hours. If you have a request, please ask. We will always do our best to make dreams come true. 


Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, absolutely. You can purchase them in-store or email us for a voucher. They can be used at Fire & Wine on pizza or wine—your choice!
